MagicBox Becomes Amerilert Certified Endpoint Provider

March 9, 2010

From the Digital Signage Expo (DSE), Omnilert LLC today announced that MagicBox has become the latest Amerilert Certified Endpoint Provider (CEP). MagicBox’s Aavelin digital signage systems are now easily configurable to automatically receive and display Amerilert alerts.

The integration allows clients to send Amerilert alerts automatically and simultaneously to the organization’s digital signage system without the need for accessing MagicBox separately. This speeds the delivery and accuracy of critical messages to the client’s entire digital signage network because no human intervention or oversight is required after initial setup. This also means people who haven't enrolled in Amerilert may still get the alerts from the facilities LCD displays run by MagicBox. An alert issued in Amerilert will automatically override current MagicBox display content within one minute.

“We’re very excited to be a CEP,” says Tom Searcy, President of MagicBox, Inc. “Now when you post a notification or emergency message using Amerilert, that message can also be displayed almost instantly on your Aavelin. Finally, you can reach those people who are walking the corridors or working out at the gym or taking a break in the cafeteria and who may not be checking their text messages or emails.”

Amerilert clients who have MagicBox’s products installed can quickly and easily connect Amerilert to MagicBox by adding the Emergency Notification Widget from MagicBox priced at $375 USD. There are no additional fees from Amerilert for the connection. Amerilert clients interested in MagicBox should contact their Amerilert account manager for details.
