Some issues that the AV industry can't afford to ignore:

According to the Natural Resources Defense Council, we throw out about 130,000 computers every day in the U.S.; more than 100 million cell phones are thrown out annually.

Samsung offers a serious 3D warning. They claim: "Some viewers may experience an epileptic seizure or stroke when exposed to certain flashing images or lights contained in certain television pictures or video games."

A study last year conducted by the Association for Computing Machinery shows that the gender gap in information technology is still pervasive. School mentors are one way to empower more women and girls to pursue IT and or computing tracks.
